Huawei MediaPad M2 Tablet With 8-inch Screen, 8MP Rear Camera, And 1.2GHz Processor Launched !

Huawei has launched its latest tablet, the MediaPad M2 which is the successor of its popular MediaPad M1, in France. This 8-inch tablet has nearly identical features to the MediaPad X2 ( launched in March). It is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop-and features the company’s proprietary Emotion UI 3.0.

It is a 4G LTE-enabled tablet that comes with a 8MP rear camera with single LED flash and a 2MP front camera. It has 1.2GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM space. It includes 16GB of built-in storage. It is fitted with a massive 4800mAh battery that supports long hours of battery usage.

The MediaPad M2 is expected to go on sale in early June, this year.  It will be available in three colors, Gold, silver, and grey. Expected price of this tablet is EUR 349 and 25,000 INR.huawei-mediapad-m2-11Body and Screen Display

It has a thin and sleek glossy body and weighs 10.9 ounces. It features a big 8-inch full HD, touch display with screen resolution of 1920x 1200 pixels.

Operating System and UI

It is loaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is pre-installed with the proprietary Emotion UI 3.1.

Processor and RAM

It is powered by 1.2GHz Octa-core Kirin 930 processor and provides 2GB of RAM.


It features a powerful 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a decent 2 MP front facing camera. This device supports video chat and video recording features.


It boasts of 16GB of internal memory and houses a microSD card slot, whose capacity is expected to be atleast 32 GB.


It carries a longer lasting 4800mAh battery and is rumored to offer support for reversible charging.
