Apple has finally declared the prices of its much awaited iPhone models, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India. The 16GB variant would be available at Rs. 53,500 and the iPhone 6 plus would be priced at Rs. 62,500.
Launched at the September 9 mega event, the iPhones would start selling in India from October 17 onwards. Dealers would begin prior bookings next week and the iPhone would be delivered to consumers who pre-book on the 16th night.
The 64GB iPhone 6 would be available at Rs. 62,500 and its 128GB variant would cost Rs. 71,500. Accordingly, the 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6 plus models would be priced at Rs. 71,500 and Rs. 80,500 respectively.
Apple has received tremendous response from customers as the company recorded pre-orders above 4 million in a matter of just 24 hours and the first weekend sales went close to 10 million.
As a matter of fact, Apple also had to face few challenges associated with iPhone 6 like the controversy of iPhone 6 plus bending and certain bugs found in iOS 8.Although, the Company claims the reports of bending have been exaggerated. They say the iphone 6 has been made using the strongest glass in the industry.
