Google’s innovative tablet, named Project Tango, which was launched last year is now available at $512 or roughly 33,000 INR, via its Google Store, exclusively. However, the Google Store India has yet to list this tablet on its online page.
Project Tango comes with a large 7-inch full-HD screen having pixel density of 323ppi and screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by an extremely-fast 2.3GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and has 4GB of RAM space. It is installed with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It has 128GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via mcroSD card (unspecific storage).It provides various connectivity options including 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and WiFi.
This feature-packed tablet is equipped with two cameras and offers motion sensing feature and a depth sensor. It comes with 3D computer-vision technology and has been developed by the company as a prototype tablet.
The Project Tango tablet has been designed by Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) division. According to the company, it aims to use this prototype model for developing 3D vision and motion-based applications such as indoor mapping app, 3D games, and navigation app for blind persons.
