Intel partners with Croma to introduce two Windows based tablets in India

Intel croma Tablets launchCroma, an electronic retail store has joined hands with Intel India and introduced two tablets based on Windows 8.1 namely the Croma 1179 and the Croma 1177 2-in-1 hybrid. The Croma 1177 hybrid is accompanied by a removable keyboard. Both the tablets house the powerful quad core Intel Atom processor.

Price in India:
The Croma 1179 tablet is priced at Rs. 13,990 whereas the Croma 1177 2-in-1 hybrid would cost Rs. 21,990.

Croma 1179 special features:
The screen size is 8 inches with (1280 x 800) pixels screen resolution. The pixel density has been reported to be 160 ppi. Intel has kept the clock speed of 1.33 GHz for the Atom processor and the capacity of RAM is 2GB. It sports a 2 megapixel rear camera that comes without flash along with a 2 megapixel front facing camera meant for video chatting. The internal storage capacity is 32 GB which can further be extended via microSD card. The device is powered by a powerful 5000mAh lithium polymer battery.

Croma 1177 2-in-1 hybrid special features:
This tablet comes with a big screen of 10.1 inches coupled with a separable keyboard. The clock speed for this tablet has not been specified by the Company. It also features a 2 megapixel front facing and rear camera. It offers two connectivity options including 3G using a SIM card and Wi-Fi.

As per Ajit Joshi, CEO and MD Infinity Retail, these tablets offer a great combination of latest features, high performance and long battery life which would indeed be appreciated by the customers.
