Intex Cloud FX: Lowest priced smartphone with Firefox OS

Intex has finally introduced in India, its first Firefox smartphone called the Cloud FX costing Rs. 1,999. It can be purchased through the company’s online partner Snapdeal. Towards the end of the month, Spice is also going to launch its Firefox OS based Smartphone named the Spice Fire One Mi-FX 1 at the price of Rs. 2,299.

Specific Features:
Intex Cloud FX dual SIM phone (GSM + GSM) sports an HVGA display of 3.5 inches along with 320 x 480 pixels screen resolution. It carries 128 MB RAM powered by 1GHz processor. The rear camera quality is 2 MP and the device comes without a front facing camera.

The internal storage capacity is 46MB which can be extended up to 4GB using microSD card. The various connectivity choices include Bluetooth, Micro USB, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio and an audio jack of 3.5 mm.

Battery power and dimensions:
The device packs a battery of 1250 mAh capacity which supports a maximum of 4 hours of talk time and approx. 200 hours of standby time. The phone measures 115.9 x 62.11.8 mm and weighs 104 grams.
