LG is all set to unveil its second smartwatch manufactured using Google’s software. This time it’s a round watch, a design similar to Motorola’s Moto 360 smartwatch which should be available for purchase by September this year.
LG will showcase the smartwatch at the gala event, IFA 2014 in first week of September at Berlin and all specifications and pricing structure would be revealed in the show. LG had introduced the G watch two months back and sources suggest this time the price would be a little higher than the G watch’s price of $230. Most probably this latest device would be called the LG G watch R.
The LG G watch R would have a button on the side, a digital step counter, a compass and possibly a distance meter as per trusted sources.
Along with LG, ASUS and Motorola are also going to introduce their latest watches at IFA. Even, HTC, Samsung and Apple have something in store for later this year. For more details on these pioneering products, we need to wait for the grand event to happen.
