South Korean mobile manufacturer, LG has added a new member to its 4G LTE smartphone family by introducing LG F60. The smartphone would first be available in Europe, followed by Asia and America beginning this week.
The LG F60 runs the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and sports a 4.5-inch WVGA screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels with a pixel density of 207 ppi. The inbuilt processor is 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm along with 1 GB of RAM.
The smartphone comes in single as well as dual-SIM variants and two storage versions of 4GB and 8GB. It’s unclear whether the storage is expandable or not.
The rear camera quality is 5MP whereas the front camera is 1.3 MP. The camera comes with additional feature called the Gesture Shot which starts a 3 second countdown for camera shutter by opening and closing a hand in front of the camera lens. The device is powered by a removable battery of 2100 mAh. The color options available are black and white.
Certain other features involve Touch and Shoot which helps in clicking images by tapping the screen at any point and the knock code that unlocks the phone by making a specific pattern on the screen.
As per Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO, LG Electronics, LG has been utilizing world class wireless technology to bring in 4G LTE mobiles with enhanced features for its consumers. LG has combined speed with affordability to satisfy user needs of all age groups.
The company has not yet announced price and exact availability dates for LG F60.
