LG G3 Beat, although not yet announced on Company’s official website, is now available in India at Rs. 25,000. Pre-booking of the handset has begun last week at an Indian retail store.
The smartphone carries the ‘Floating Arc design’ similar to LG G3 characterizing glossy curved sides. Its main point of attraction is the 8 MP rear camera powered by Laser Autofocus sensor. It also houses a 1.3 MP front facing camera.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD screen with IPS display and pixel density of 294ppi. However, the LG G3 beat comes with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels which is less as compared to the 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution of the LG G3.
The handset packs a battery of 2540 mAh capacity and the processor is 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 coupled with 2GB of RAM. It is based on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and has 8GB of expandable storage capacity.
It offers a wide range of connectivity choices including GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, A-GPS, 3G, 4G LTE, Micro-USB, NFC and Bluetooth.
Dimensions and color options:
The weight of the smartphone is 134 grams and its dimensions are 137.7 x 69.6 x 10.33 mm. The various color options available are Silk White, Shine Gold and Metallic Black.
There are many pre-installed apps similar to LG G3 like Touch and Shoot, Gesture Shot, LG’s note taking app, Quick Memo+ and Smart Keyboard.
