US based manufacturer, Motorola has introduced its latest smartphone, the Moto X (Gen 2) in India at the rate of Rs. 31,999 for 16GB variant. The handset with leather and wood back panels would be available at Rs. 33,999.
The 16 GB model would be available solely on Flipkart.com starting midnight. However, there isn’t any storage expandability option. The company has not provided any information regarding the 32 GB variant’s availability in India.
The Moto X (Gen 2) features the Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box OS and comes with the 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor powered by 2GB RAM. The capacity of its battery is 2300 mAh.
The device sports a 5.2-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 423 ppi. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The rear camera quality is 13 MP with 4K video recording and f/2.25 lens coupled with dual-LED ring flash whereas a 2MP front camera powered by 1080p video recording.
The various connectivity options are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 4G LTE and 3.5 mm audio jack. Similar to Moto G (Gen 2), the Moto X (Gen 2) also carries a single front speaker underneath the screen.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 140.8 x 72.4 x 9.97mm and its weight is 144 grams.
