As per industry-standard test specifications, both the tablets meet the MIL-STD-810G and have secured an IP65/IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Toughpad FZ-E1 is powered by a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. The Toughpad FZ-X1 is powered by a lesser powerful 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4Pro processor.
Both the Toughpad variants boast of a 5-inch HD display which supports image resolution up to 1280x 720 pixels. These dual-Camera tablets feature a 1.3MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera with flash support.
