Initially unveiled in the month of August, South Korean Giant, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Alpha smartphone in India at a price of Rs. 39,990. It features a stylish metal frame covering the plastic body.
The smartphone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS and packs an octa-core chipset coupled with 2GB RAM. It sports an HD capacitive touchscreen of 4.7-inches with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a Super AMOLED display. The device has an inbuilt storage capacity of 32GB. The storage is non-expandable. It packs a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor.
The rear camera quality is 12 megapixel and it also has a 1.2 MP front facing camera. The capacity of its battery is 1860 mAh. The smartphone has other features like heart rate monitor and finger print scanner. At present the various color variants available are Frosted Gold, Charcoal Black and Dazzling White.
Connectivity options and dimensions:
Samsung Galaxy Alpha supports 3G, 4G LTE, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE and NFC. It measures 132.4 x 65.5 x 6.7 mm and its weight is 115 grams.
