Samsung brings in ‘Smart Learning Store’ on all Galaxy tablets

02 Sept. 2014, yesterday, Samsung has declared the introduction of ‘Smart Learning’ under the purview of its Media Solutions Center (MSC) division. The company claims with this launch, they become the pioneers of India’s Educational store.

Samsung states they have crafted the Smart Learning store to cater to the needs of students from class 1st till 12th (CBSE board) as well as students attempting competitive exams, and provide them world class interactive study material. They further stated that the Company will later add on the courseware for other boards alongside skill building material.

It can be accessed on all Samsung Galaxy tablets and would include premium quality material prepared by leading academicians and top most educational associates. The store will contain in-depth subject-wise lectures coupled with interactive tutorials, exercises and practice sessions.

As per the South Korean Giant, already 7,000 Indian stores are capable of selling education material on Galaxy tabs and the number would gradually be increased to 10,000. Samsung Smart learning, a cloud based service would also be available offline.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Tarun Malik, Director, MSC, South West Asia, Samsung Electronics stated- ‘Smart Learning Solutions’ is a revolutionary service designed to remodel the educational competence of India. It will complement the traditional classroom approach and aims to clarify the concepts of students for better understanding. Samsung, being the first to launch such a service in India, is looking forward to lay grounds for leadership in this arena as well.
