Samsung launched Galaxy S Duos 3 at approx. Rs. 7,999

Galaxy S Duos 3Established Mumbai retailer Mahesh Telecom has tweeted that Samsung Galaxy Duos 3, the descendant of the stylish Galaxy S Duos 2 is now in stock at an offer price of Rs. 7,999, although the smartphone is yet to be announced by the South Korean giant. The MRP of the device is Rs. 8,590.

Mahesh telecom has uploaded the pictures and specifications of this budget smartphone on its Facebook page. The credibility of the news lies in the fact that the Mumbai retailer has earlier also passed on the news of Samsung mobile launches prior to their official releases like the galaxy S5, Galaxy Grand Neo and the Galaxy Core 2.

Specific features:

As per the Mumbai retailer’s tweet, the smartphone sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA TFT display and a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It packs a 1GHz dual core processor and the rear camera quality is 5 MP along with LED flash.

The device would reportedly support GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ Glonass and 3G and contains 1500 mAh battery. Another piece of interesting information is that the smartphone would support 14 different Indian languages.

Few other newly launched budget smartphones by Samsung include the Galaxy Star 2, introduced last week and costing Rs. 4,580, the Galaxy star advance and the Galaxy Ace NXT.
