Sony has announced and listed two new successors to its Xperia Z3 smartphone, the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z3+ Dual. Both the phones have identical specifications except that the dual-variant comes with two SIM slots. The company has not provided their release dates for the Indian market. These phones will be available in four color options- White, Black, Aqua Green, and Copper.The Xperia Z3+ variant boasts of a 5.2-inch full-HD Triluminos display coupled with X-Reality for mobile picture engine. It has screen resolution of 1080x 1920 pixels.
It has a 6.9mm-thick slim metallic body which is dust-tight and water-proof and weighs only 144 grams.
It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is powered by 64-bit octa-core (1.5GHz quad-core + 2GHz quad-core) Qualcommm Snapdragon processor. It has 3GB of RAM space.
The Xperia Z3+ variant features a 5MP front camera fitted with an Exmor R BSI sensor and a 25mm wide-angle lens. It also boasts of a 20.7MP autofocus rear camera coupled with an Exmor RS BSI sensor, an LED flash, and a Bionz image processor. Both the cameras support image stabilization feature.
It comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage and supports external storage via microSD card up to 128GB. It is powered on by a big 2930mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE, GPS-AGPS, Bluetooth, WiFi with hotspot, DLNA, NFC, and Glonass.
